DOKKEN: More 'Hell To Pay' Details Revealed
April 16, 2004MelodicRock.com recently caught up with DOKKEN guitarist Jon Levin (ex-WARLOCK) for a quick update on the band's upcoming album, "Hell To Pay". "Jon is extremely happy with the result, as is Don apparently," according to a post on the site. "He says 'Hell To Pay' is much closer to what DOKKEN used to be and is heavier than the last album, with more guitar solos. The band have spent a full year on this album, writing and recording it. Jon says he and Don started writing in April last year and wrote 35 or 40 songs for consideration, of which 11 have made it to the final stage. A remix of one album track will be a bonus 12th cut on the release."
The recording line-up on "Hell To Pay" (view cover here) is: Don Dokken, Jon Levin (guitar),Barry Sparks (bass, TED NUGENT, YNGWIE MALMSTEEN, MSG) and Mick Brown (drums).
